The direction keys are: hjklyubn. You can also use the number pad: 48267913. Type , to pick up an object on the ground, and w to wield it. Type d to drop an object. Type f and a direction key to fire a weapon. The command to quit is #quit.

When you first start, you will be stranded on a planet without a weapon. There should be a weapon somewhere randomly close to you. Pick it up. (If, for some reason, there is not a weapon nearby, how is that my problem?) Then try to survive as long as you can.
